Excellent polish!

I have a very nice Eastman acoustic dreadnought guitar that's about seven years old. It had never been polished because I had never used a guitar polish I really liked, and I didn't want to gunk up the finish on the guitar. Although I always wiped the guitar off before putting it in its case, after seven years, I felt I needed to use some kind of polish. I read about three different brands before accidentally reading about the Taylor polish. I have great respect for the Taylor organization, and I thought this might be a good product. I love it! It cleaned the guitar, the guitar finish is shiny, and it feels very smooth to the touch. TIP: When you apply it to the guitar, hold the guitar so the surface you are spraying is vertical. The pump dispenser sprays a misty ring of polish, and holding the bottle upright produces the best distribution of polish on the guitar.

Ignore the above

Don't listen to what the guy who said to use it only on Taylor guitars. The back of the bottle says produced by Music Nomad, so is in fact a generic type guitar polish. Just don't use it on satin finished or unfinished wood, it is only for gloss finishes. Otherwise it will work great with any guitar. However, I would probably avoid using it on nitrocellulose finishes like on Gibson Les Pauls etc.

Taylor Guitar Polish

Use this polish with your Taylor microfiber polish cloths for your Taylor guitars only. Do not try to use this polish on any instrument other than a Taylor guitar. The "finish" of every different guitar company is chemically different. Therefore, using the Taylor guitar polish with the Taylor microfiber polish cloths will keep your Taylor guitar looking brand spanking new!

It's o.k.

I've been using this product for about 2 years. I use it every time I change the strings on my guitars. I use it largely because it's what Taylor recommends. It does shine my guitars up a little, but not really a difference of night and day although that may be because I always take good care of my guitars and never let them get too dirty. They are too expensive of an investment to neglect. It's made by MusicNomad whose products I like so next time I'll maybe save a buck or two and purchase the similar MN branded product.
