Nice little amp for the money!

I must say that I wasn't really expecting a whole lot out of this little amp when I bought it; I was just looking for a budget-friendly 1x10 tube combo. Out of my Orange TH30, Fender Blues Junior, and vintage ('56) magnatone 2x12, this amp quickly became my go-to for dinking around. The built-in tube screamer overdrive may not sound exactly like the pedal but it does't disappoint at all. It's versatile enough to get whatever you want out of it with just a few adjustments to the knobs and has sounded equally great playing a strat, les paul and a hollow-body ES-135 through it. Let the volume knob on your guitar adjust the overdrive and keep that bad boy cranked!

    Sweet little amp

I was looking for a small, low-watt amp with tons of tone and that's what I got with the TSA5. The tone is great and very easy to dial in because you have one tone control for the clean and Tube Screamer channels. That makes it very easy and fast to tweak the tone during a gig. Since we run everything through the sound system, the 5 watts is more than enough and the Celestion speaker sounds fantastic.

    Warm Tube Sound

This amp sounds very good. A warm brown sound with no reverb to suck away tone. Good tight lows with cream and sugar topping. The tube screamer is way cool. It does great tube tone at a very reasonable price in a ultra light and well made amp. Both volume controls work simultaneously which allows some awesome tone variations. Did I mention it has a killer 10' Celestion speaker? Great grab and go amp. I use an Ibanez AG75 and get a great Jazz tone.

Awesome amp for home use and recording

I have been playing guitar for a few years now. Not professional, but got a few offers to play in good bands. Been Using Solid state practice amps till now (just sold my Marshall MG)and was never really happy with the sound, i started looking for a tube amp and stumbled upon this one at my local guitar store.

My tokai Love rock sounds great through it. Cleans are Really clean, and at high volumes can get a little crunchy. Kick in (or switch on, No pedal) the tube screamer circuit and play with the controls, you can get a whole loads of tone. I play blues and rock ( clapton to Zepplin) it serves me for my music. When i need to take it out to a small gig, all i have to do i crank the volume way up and i can keep up with the drummer. Not yet plugged into a cabinet.

Over all an excellent amp for the price (200). If it were stolen I would definetly buy another one
