    Killer amp!

This is the best "small" amp you can buy! Every time I take it out and play I get asked "what is that" and "where can I get one". Just had a gig a couple days ago at a really small club. Never switched out of 5 watts. Still killed it. Way more clean headroom than a Blues JR, and way nastier too if desired. Blows a Blues JR out of the water. I sold one I had immediately after getting this one. Very well made. Mine did an end over end on a staircase a month or two ago. Rolled for about four steps before stopping. Took it in and plugged in - all was well. LOTS of additional input jacks for different Ohm cabs on the back. Effect loop. Just absolutely perfect if you want to grab a guitar in one hand and an amp in the other and head to the jam and/or practice. I would buy another one in a heartbeat if something happened to mine!

    Steroidal Small Amp!

The tube screamer as always been a hot item for that crunch under control, but having one built into your amp is just priceless. There's a huge difference in what this guy can do at 15w over 5w. I use this as my primary guitar amp for a jam night we host in a bar. Guys drag in much stronger 75w/100w amps and I still keep up in the 15w boosted mode. Not frilly on tone control, because it doesn't need it, crisp punchy tube sound in clean. A little bit of pedal action and you get some serious gain and sustain out this amp. My only dig on it is the white tolex get's little small tears if I just look at it wrong. Still, if you treat it like a precious baby you might night get marks like I do throwing it in with all of the other gear. Great controls, and great power range. Loud enough to play with amateur drummers beating the hell out of my drummers kit...ugh, jam nights!

    Great Practice Amp

This is an awesome sounding amp for the musician that wants tube sound in a practice amp . This amp probably wont cut it against a drum set even with a timid drummer but when you are jammin by yourself its perfect. I keep it in my living room. Choice of 5W or 15W is nice. If you want a little more out of the amp consider changing the power tubes to Tung-Sol 6V6GT's. Nice mod (but not necessary) for this amp and adds tons of head room which is great because if you want to push the amp you can click on the TS circuit and the boost switch and crank it! Pre-amp tubes are Ruby's. Stock power tubes are Chinese Electron Tubes. Note: my amp is the Limited Edition Black model. Not sure if the tubes that came in it were different than the standard.

    A "big" small amp!

This design is brilliant, I switched to this after getting bored with a Blackstar HT-5 which had too much distortion too soon in the dial. But in clean mode too the TSA15 is awesome, it sounds like amps ten times more expensive. Do not know how Ibanez did it but this amp rocks! It proves you do not need ridiculously expensive gear for a great tone. You will not miss the reverb because with a delay pedal on the FX loop it sounds like it did. Anyway to have a good reverb on your tone chain you'd better have a separate unit not rely on amp built-in. To do so the amp would sell at a much higher price. What makes this package so attractive is that the Celestion 70/80 is a low price speaker which tell me that whoever wants more, bigger and possibly better can always go for the more expensive speakers out there. But it sounds so perfect the way it is I doubt you'll need to do that anyway.

    I love this amp

Like I said, I love this amp. I am not technical, I will just plainly state that the tube screamer/gain is perfect-real crunchy, warm and not over the top distortion. Boost switch is great. The clean channel is also brilliant. The amp is plenty loud and of course, it could be mic'd live. It is nice to have the option of 5 watts, too. I do not miss the lack of reverb. It is built well and is great looking. My ONLY issue is that if you have P-90 pick-ups, the amp can be slightly noisy when not playing. I am sure there is a way around this for those in the know. I do not use pedals but I have read that it handles them well. Awesome job, Ibanez.
