Better than Ozone
I had been using Ozone for years but am getting much better results with T-RackS. I highly recommend it!
Game Changer
I build amps ans guitars experiment with different circuits, components, speakers... you name to achieve all kinds of times from vintage signature tones to high gains. I had a lot of dry clips made during those builds.. Some which were a certain 1978 flavor.
Then I used these plugins in this order.
LA2A>1176>1176>Sunset Studio (Chamber room 2)
and my Jaw hit the floor at what a difference it made.
There's a guy on YouTube that goes by the name Ossie who goes over the settings on how Ted Templeman used 2 1176s for slide guitar and in 1978. I used the info from that to set each 1176 opposite of each other.. Kind of like a cup emptying and being refilled at the same time for gain and sustain.
This was an impactful purchase.
Best for money
Great bundle for the money. I've been wanting to break from the Slate subscription, this package along with the other plugins I have, well Slate Everything Bundle is gone. Feels good, rather own my plugins. Maybe I'll buy some selected Slate stuff down the road, gonna miss FGStress, but with so many plugins won't miss it. I have UAD and the IK Neve stuff is second only to the UAD.
The plugins are good, but...
The effect plugins are generally quite good. What's missing is side-chaining.
An absolute dealbreaker for me was that in addition to T-RackS 5 MAX, IK Multimedia seemed entitled to install another program on my computer, called "Custom shop." You see, Custom Shop is free, and it lets IK Multimedia push whatever offers and plugins onto your computer.
I insisted on IK Multimedia delivering only the product which I have purchased, and remove Custom Shop from my system, since I never consented to it (I was given no choice). They couldn't, or wouldn't remove it, but they were kind enough to refund my purchase, and I was able to delete all my account information. The back and forth was extensive, but in this case, I was ready to go much further.
So, I have nothing against IK Multimedia, but it would've been nice of them to clearly state that they will install Custom Shop on you system, because it appears to be their right to spam you, and also to explain what Custom Shop does. Not giving their customers the option to uninstall it is where things got serious.
Since IK Multimedia don't want to mention this anywhere, I feel that I have to.
