Looks and quality, A plus
Years of playing keyboard, I decided to switch gears. This is my first bass and I cannot be happier with the looks, sound and quality.
Spencer Kennedy at Sweetwater is the best. Since I've been out of the music scene for a long time, Spencer's knowledge and suggestions were greatly appreciated. He took the time to explain the pros and cons of the brands and what would fit my styles in music.
Before hooking up with Sweetwater I visited a well know "guitar" store. After about a half hour of waiting to be helped, I walked out. Not so much as a goodbye or kiss my *ss.
Yup, I'm an old guy. I guess they think that old guys and gals don't spend money. Guess again, I bought the bass, amp, practice amp and accessories from Sweetwater. My future purchases will be with Spencer and Sweetwater. Thanks for the great customer service!
TRBX 204
I made the right choice, sounds great, the neck is perfect fit for me, nice job on the Grey Metallic Finish.
As usual the Sweetwater Experience went nice and smooth, and thanks to Chris Ishak he made it happen.
Surprisingly Amazing
Hard to believe that a bass at this price point can be so good. Neck is super comfy with no sharp fret ends at all. Active pickups sound amazing and fit and finish is way better than basses I’ve spent a lot more on. Yamaha’s Chinese manufacturing is ridiculously top notch. Not a loose part anywhere and feels solid and well built. Setup was perfect out of the box. All I had to do was tune it to my preference and that’s it! Of course the buying experience from Sweetwater is second to none.
Exceeded expectations for its price.
Every aspect of this bass guitar exceeded my expectations but for the setup of the first string which required some adjusting, a not uncommon issue but also possibly related to the low price.
Long Bow
Great bass for the price and sounds awesome. The Yamaha TRBX204 feels great in my hands. It plays fast and the tone options can help you find a sweet spot that will keep your fingers turning and your soul rockin. It is a match made in heaven and I am very pleased with the Yamaha TRBX204 :).
