Works The Way I Need It To

By Curt Cassingham from Portland, OR on November 8, 2017

I bought this tuner and contact microphone accessory to solve my problem of tuning my flute and piccolo in a noisy rehearsal room along with about fifty other musicians, also tuning up. Various smartphone apps are fine, but can't tell the difference between me, and the rest of the orchestra. The contact mic solved that, with ease. I probably won't use the metronome much, but the tuner, with both the needle pointing sharp or flat, along with LEDs that indicate the same. I can see the LEDs out of the corner of my eye as I'm reading the chart. The tuner, along with my own ears, keeps me in better tune with the orchestra.

This is a great tuner I like the speaker in it it picks up my bass in noisy situations .The needle bounces around when you plug in guitar but they all do. Im satisfied great for down tuning keeps me and the guitar player straight. Metronome very easy to use .

Does the job...

By Roger from California on May 11, 2016

A good tuner and metronome that does both jobs in a very functional way. The plus-or-minus LEDs are very sensitive leaving you with a perpetually slightly in or out of tune guitar string, according to the lights. My ear picks it up fine; almost too sensitive to be practical. Again, a good product if you don't take it too seriously. I might try another tuner given the opportunity.
