Love it with caveats.........

This new generation line 6 tranny pack is great and a big upgrade from the G-50 system built like a tank, concealed switches under the sliding access panel. Th locking 1/4' cable i sheavy duty and gives you confidence that it will not fail. (Plus in a pinch any 1/4" cable will work. Nice!) Havent had any dropout issues so far (compared to the years I spent performing with the G-50) caveats that I i saw coming and have experienced already: Bigger and heavier than the G-50 tranny. That's OK but you do feel the extra weight on your strap. The clips are just a thin wire with two little anchor points on the pack and of course with this type of simple clip they do pop off with a side to side adjustment when on the strap and even on my thicker straps they move around to the point of potentially falling off. I have to do a strip of duct tape to ensure that does not happen during a performance as i am changing between 5 guitars minimum during a show. other than that technically and performance wise they are a huge upgrade and a top of the line reliable wireless from Line 6 (The G-70 receiver is in a class by itself as well)

Next gen affordable wireless

Love the new belt packs for the G-70 wireless guitar system. Built STURDY The heavy duty locking cable seems built to last (And you can use ANY 1/4"-1/4" cable in a pinch) On board adjustments are great and hidden under the sliding access cover. So far has worked as advertised. Couple things on a small negative side. The pack is bigger and noticeably heavier that the G-50 and you can feel that weight on the strap. The wire clip will probably become an issue with repeated professional use i.e coming loose from the pack where it pins on and stretching out. It already does not hold the transmitter in place on my strap so i have to resort to gaff tape so it wont potentially fall off. (I use multiple guitars and am changing multiple times in a set so my use may be a bit unusual) Technically though, flawless transmission function. The other stuff is just details. This G-70 system so far ROCKS.
