Software Orchestral Sample Library, 20GB, with Solo and Ensemble Articulations, Ambiences, Multi-layers, 24-bit/44.1kHz Resolution, and Konatkt Sample Player - Mac/PC Standalone, AAX, VST, AU

ProjectSAM's Symphobia is the ideal orchestral sample library for film, TV, and video game scoring. It's loaded with ensemble multi-samples spanning a range of orchestrations and articulations, so you can create massive orchestral arrangements with incredible realism. What's more, ProjectSAM's Symphobia's ensemble offering only makes up half of the 20GB library - the other library features cinematic effects, played by different sections throughout the orchestra. There are violin glissandi, full orchestra rips and stabs, dark textures, trailer risers and more. Kontakt player is included, so you can immediately take advantage of Symphobia's rich content.

Amazing

By John Rossi III from Naples, FL on June 25, 2012 Music Background: Engineer, Musician, Scientist

The fact that the program arrangements are in ensemble form frees the user from the task of dealing with instrument ranges, expression, etc. The people at ProjectSAM are video music creators and know what is necessary for tools in producing music for video. The cost is high but you do get what you pay for.

Astounding Cinematics

By Jordan B. Sanders from Memphis, TN on November 3, 2009 Music Background: Composer, Recording Engineer

Let me first say that Symphobia is probably not the best choice for a first/only symphonic library. This is due to its heavy focus on ensembles.

However, this is also its largest strength.

With Symphobia, I'm able to rapidly orchestrate basic ideas which I then fully flesh out by adding instruments from more granular libraries (e.g. East West/Quantum Leap Symphonic Orchestra or VSL).

Make no mistake, Symphobia creates amazing depth with its ensemble recordings. I am truly taken aback by feeling I get when listening to piece made with this library.

I considered docking half of a star due to the extremely high price. However, it has completely met my expectations and definitely surprised me on more than one occasion.

I would say that if you're considering Symphobia and you have the money to spend, don't hesitate! I'm glad that I didn't.

Excellent Product

By David Brown from Raleigh NC on September 13, 2011 Music Background: 50 years experience, playing and composing.

Great sounds with selective uses. Symphonic, and not designed to "add strings" to other types of music. If I stay within the symphonic genre I can complete a project quickly and rapidly.
