    Great ADX Upgrade

Nailed my latency issues using firewire for remote recording with an Apogee AD16x with this thing. Love it. Hook it into your Macbook Pro and you're good to go. Easy setup. Just wish Apogee still made the required x-symphony expansion cards. Had to hit the internet and find a used one.

Great way to extend the life of your legacy Apogee interfaces!

I purchased my Thunderbridge right after Apogee lowered the price to $495. This is an amazing value! Worth noting is anyone with an AD16x, DA16x, or Rosetta series can extend the life of their interfaces by picking up an X-Symphony card which allows you to connect up to 4 Apogee units to the Thunderbridge. You can mix and match AD/DA/Rosetta units as desired.

Whether you own a MacBook Pro or new Mac Pro that standardizes on Thunderbolt, this interface is the way to go! You get rock solid 24/192 with extremely low latency. If you're like me and own the AD16x and DA16x and don't want to reinvest thousands of dollars in new audio interfaces, this is the best option because Apogee Maestro will support this configuration for years to come!

    Apogee Symphony 64 | ThunderBridge

I did extensive research before I finally decided to go with the Apogee Thunderbridge. It really compliments my Rosetta 800. This set up along with Pro tools 11 and Logic Pro X and you just cant go wrong. The Thunderbridge can handle complex mixes as well as low latency recording when incorporated with Apogee Maestro 2. Overall, I am very satisfied with this product. I upgraded from the Symphony 32 PCIe which doesn't work on anything past Mac OSX 10.6.7. The Apogee Symphony 64 | ThunderBridge works great on Mountain Lion as well as the most recent Maverick. Now i'm back to creating music without any worries about power and performance.

    Apogee Symphony 64 thunder bridge

Thought at first i did not need thunder bridge, however
My symphony was having a few latency issues.
I also like the higher sampling rate options.
Acoustic guitar sounds good at 192 k.
Thunder brige runs flawlessly with symphony.
Had to download software and run it, is all.
I wont say you have to have thunder bridge. Symphony is good on its own. But it will run better and faster with thunder bridge.
