Take great sound with you when you go

If you're like most of us here at Sweetwater, being away from studio seldom keeps you from making music. And for some, your paycheck depends on being able to compose, edit, and mix everywhere and anywhere you can. The Super UA's design gives you the high-quality audio processing you need without being tethered to piece of a rack gear. This two part system is compromised of a main tabletop unit and a separate I/O module that connects via a single cable. The 2 in/2 out I/O module has locking Neutrik XLR connections for inputs for your mics or outboard preamps, and outputs for your monitors or running audio from DAW into your 500 series rack. The tabletop main unit features two balanced TRS inputs and two outputs for extra inputs in the studio or whatever you need while you're on-the-go. It also features both a 1/4" and 1/8" headphone outputs and controls for input gain and output levels. When it's time to take your music with you, simply detach the I/O module and take the main unit with you - never worry about constantly rewiring your studio every time you need your interface outside of your studio.

Quality built for life in your laptop bag

The Super UA is more roadworthy than your average audio interface. Engineered to provide superior audio in a mobile format, the Super UA's die-cast metal chassis is solid and reliable. And it grips the surface it sits on so you don't have to worry about slide offs - the Super UA is at home wherever your music-making takes it!

Powerful performance for audiophiles, engineers, and musicicans

Great, it's roadworthy, but what does that really mean for you? Well, it depends on what it is you do. If you require nothing but the highest quality audio, the Super UA can do that. But if you're a professional engineer, you'll want that power for working on mixes wherever the mood strikes. If you depend on softsynths or incorporate computer-based audio onstage, the Super UA provides the great sound and low-latency performance you need for your virtual instruments and tracks to sound their most realistic.

For Sweetwater and Rob Pelance

Very great website for anyone who wants to buy new equipment and sweetwater makes it easy and affordable by doing 3 easy payments. Rob Pelance has been fantastic. I hope the company and Rob can see this review. By the way this interface is super powerful. It amplies sound and makes it clear. Its gold to have. Very DAW friendly.

Superb Clarity & Ease Of Use.

No, it does not have more bells and whistles then a train graveyard and it does not allow you to spend your last cent chasing better plugins then the semi-good ones that came with it.....true. However it offers stunning clarity and remarkable resolution instead. Read the specs, they are not a myth. Its simply an excellent recording and monitoring device that is not going to satisfy you if you need 435 imputs, however, if you want an incredible sounding interface combined with well designed user friendliness then you really should give this gear your full attention. There simply is nothing better sounding for recording & monitoring @ 3x its price. Find out.

The Roland Super UA sounds better than any other 2x2 interface I've heard. I love that you can disconnect the XLR I/O from the main unit when you need to go mobile. If you're a desktop composer with minimal instruments, the Super UA will deliver far beyond your expectations.
