Fender select stratocaster

One fine guitar, I'm the proud owner of a 73 sunburst maple neck, big head and I got it for a Xmas gift in 73. I bought two others since then a White one maple neck American standard and a black one like David Gilmore. But this one to me is the **** it sounds so warm and fery fun to play that makes all the difference in the world. LOVE IT

Fender Select Strat

By Fester Slamstone from Nashville on July 16, 2014 Music Background: Sucka

Sweet water does a great job picking their stock from Fender. This is a beautiful guitar, well crafted, great materials. Just not sold on the new neck experiment. I mean it works, and the radius is great for easy play - it's just a little too easy. I have to ease up a bit on the bends and get heavier strings in order to move from my Fullerton 57 to this thing. The HSS setup is great, would have rather had 69s in the first two positions but the sounds is pretty good and the Humber makes this a far more flexible instrument for pro players - which I am NOT! Again nice job Sweetwater - you always have the best of what's around....
