    Great Product + Great Service

I've been impressed with the way Sweetwater handle customer service all the way from being interested in a product, to final checkout, to follow up after the product arrives. But when you combine that sort of stellar customer service with incredible products, it's a no-brainer!

Aside from their amazing service (which really has nothing to do with this guitar) this Strat is the best one I have personally played. I rank it above several Nash strats I've played, and certainly higher than your typical American Standard. Amazing guitar that I'll probably never part with.

The neck is outstanding - perfect size and incredibly fast and smooth. The satin finish is definitely the way to go.

It feels expensive. You know that the parts used are going to last and work as they should.

I will say this about the tremolo arm - If you actually want to use it, you're going to want to take out a spring or 2, or at least lower the tension quite a bit. Doing this will necessitate a set up, so just keep that in mind. It's pretty (really) firm when it first arrives and too tight, at least for my taste. I like it firm, but not that firm!

Overall, it's a keeper for me. The pickups sound beautiful and honestly sounds like John Mayer himself walked into the room and plugged in his own guitar. The mid scoop is not at all restrictive, as I thought I might be. In fact, I've found that in a live setting it cuts through the mix so well. Definitely recommend it!

    Best Sounding Strat I own...

After saving and waiting for this Strat, I am glad that I finally got it. It plays like butter and the Big Dipper pickups are just what I've been looking for in a Strat. I own quit a few guitars and out of all my Strats, this one is my favorite because of the sound and playability. If you have been thinking of getting one of these beauties, just do it. This guitar is awesome.

    Amazing Guitar

I've always wanted to like Strats and seemed to never find the "one". That is until I tried this one. The quality of the finish and the components rival my PRS, which retails for twice the money. This has become my number one and it's the one gigged currently. I'd say try the neck first as it is unique, ironically it's 75% of what I love about it. The other selling factor was the pick up. To me, they are perfect. The "bag" is more than a bag and pretty cool. The InCase bag sells for more than a case, and I like it.

Better than I thought it would be

I have always played Telecasters and I needed to have a strat. I tried the American Standards, Eric Claptons, American Deluxe, and so on. The John Mayer is a great rock, blues, and funk guitar. The olympic white and rosewood fingerboard look outstanding. The maple neck is smooth and I can use my thumb up and down the register. This is definitely what an old school strat should sound and look like. It is lite weight and comfortable to stand around with it.
