Hohner Special 20 Harmonica - Key of C Reviews
Here's the perfect harmonica to learn on. The Hohner Special 20 gives you great tone and excellent bendability. Plus, since it has a special airtight design, the Special 20 is the choice for harmonica players of a bunch of different styles - from blues to country, folk to rock. The plastic comb also doesn't absorb moisture, so the Special 20 is made to last a long time. The Special 20 is the kind of harmonica you rely on, and the pick for countless gigging players (including Bob Dylan on his 2007/2008 tour). When quality and affordability count, go with the Hohner Special 20.

Very good harmonica
I started with the Hohner Bluesband set to see if I would like harmonicas. I did like them and wanted a better one. Since most of the beginner internet tutorials are in the key of C, I chose this key. After watching many online reviews comparing makes and models, I chose the Hohner Special 20 as my first "better" harp. My next one will be in the key of G since this one is a little high pitched for my hearing aids.
Blues
This harmonica blew me out of the water with its bends tonight. If you're looking for a quality Hohner, this harmonica delivers. The plastic comb is comfortable to play without sacrificing sound quality. 10/10
Amazing harmonica
After watch a couple of videos play harmonica has been around my head and I've just bought this one to learn. No experience playing harmonica but I can tell it's a very beautiful harmonica, looks like something that will last for long time and it sounds very good. It's came with a plastic case that make it very safe and protected.
Sweet Sounds
I got one for my niece. I heard how it played sweet sounds. So I bought one for myself.
Thank you Sweetwater for memories.

Bad To The Bone
I love this harmonica, it is much easier to play than the Blues Harp. It takes less effort to play, bends easier, has a cleaner sound. I'll take the Special 20 over the Blues Harp any day.

The Best
The best harmonica for beginners and serious performers.
Special 20 Harmonica
This special 20 is very easy to work with, much easier to blow, and draw I plan on getting a whole set of 20's. You can not ask for better service then what Sweetwater does. Will be ordering more from them in near future.
Classic.
The special 20 is a classic, with a great bright sound. Definitely not like a dark sounding "blues" harp. It's great for rock, and anything where you need it to cut through a mix. Easy to play, and solid.
Nice sound, responsive
I've been learning the harmonica for a few months, and started on a $10 harmonica which was very difficult to play. Purchased a Lee Oskar, which was far superior and sounded great. The Hohner Special 20 compares well to the Lee Oskar, with a slightly different tone, less bright. It also is very responsive, and a bit easier to bend the lower draw notes.
Hohner harmonica Key of C

Hohner Special 20 harmonicas
I love these harmonicas. Their beautiful, great quality and beautiful sound.
Nice!
This is a harp I can actually learn to play on as a beginner. I made the mistake of buying a cheap Fender C on eBay for about 10 bucks I had such a hard time getting a -7 to work! This Hohner Special 20 from Sweetwater is a nice harp!
Thanks, Sweetwater for the nice buying experience!

Special 20
Had a very old Blues Harp that wore out. I actually didn't realize that this Harmonica is built to stand up better to the moisture I contribute to it every time I play. It has a great sound, bends notes as well as my Harp and cleans up great.
Hohner Special 20
just for your knowledge, I have never blown a horn in my life, so this little Harmonica is a new adventure, the little I do know is that it is easy to use, I have other harmonicas that finally came out into view and this does play better that the others, still learning to bend and breathe into the horn, so far so good. I think for those with experience this could be a great addition to your collection
The hohner Special 20
I like the Special 20 Harmonica very much as someone who is just a beginner at the Harmonica. One thing I really like about them is since they have a plastic comb instead of wood you can rinse them out under the faucet . As far as Buck for Bang, It would be hard to beat them.
Hohner Special 20
It is a little lighter to hold than I expected but it is a sweet harp and of course, the Hohner quality.
Handy PocketCompanion
What is there to say after you see that it is a HOHNER, and was made in Germany? I recently gave my grandson a large HOHNER with a slide that I purchased from our NAVY shipstore in 1957 while on a Med Cruise. It had been packed away in its case for at least the past 20 years, but still plays cleanly on every note.... QUALITY!! I purchased this one for my own amusement...
