Sonar X3 studio.
The rating of five stars is, well, so far. I am in my eighties and I started with Sonar 1! So I went from Sonar 1.3 to Sonar X3, and nothing in between. I'll tell you frankly, the leap from one to the other was not that big in terms of quality and the tools I was using for music production. In fact, I found that old Sonar 1.3 would load into Windows 7 along side Sonar X3 except for some of the effects, which is really handy. It eliminates the use of two computers for the old and new files. The one tool I found that makes a big difference in sound production that I didn't have before, is Melodyne. Wow! What a tool!
