Worth the Price

The SoundTouch 30 is quite incredible. It is the most expensive of the three choices but the most powerful. I listen to mostly classical music and I can tell you the clarity, seperation and power is awesome. I have four ST 30's positioned throughout my house. Not once has there been any glitches or dropouts. The free app allows me to individually or collectively adjust the volume or power down with a simple command of a finger. A great investment and Alan Carter from Sweetwater shipped them in time for the holiday even though they were backordered. Bravo Bose and Sweetwater !

Bose has been better

I've been a Bose fan for decades, I've loved their table radios, headphones and PA equipment. My favorite thing with Bose gear is the amazing transparency and balance of the sound. I'm sad to say I've been disappointed twice this year with Bose purchases. The Soundtouch 30 just isn't up to what I think of as Bose quality. The bass is boomy and too prominent - it really can't be reduced enough with the control they provide. I expected at least a rudimentary EQ, but it doesn't exist. Maybe tastes have changed, and people prefer this tonal balance. The bluetooth sound is anemic, but I suspect that is a bandwidth issue. If you are happy with MP3 quality audio, this will probably impress. If you're more fussy, you might find this device lacking.
