Powerful LED Lighting with D-Fi USB Compatibility

The Chauvet DJ SlimPAR Pro H USB delivers high-quality PAR light for your stage show or video studio. An all-LED design not only cuts heat output drastically but is also a green choice with less power consumption. The compact LED design of this light lets you place it in even the smallest of spaces. With the SlimPAR Pro H USB, you can achieve a plethora of colors without using a gel pack, thanks to its 6-in-1 LEDs. This light can be used independently or as part of a DMX setup. The live sound experts at Sweetwater agree: the Chauvet DJ SlimPAR Pro H USB makes your performance shine!

D-Fi USB compatibility opens up new wireless possibilities

When power isn't an issue but running DMX cables is, D-Fi USB is a serious asset. The SlimPAR Pro H USB features a special USB port that accepts a Chauvet D-Fi USB transceiver. This transceiver lets your SlimPAR Pro H USB receive wireless DMX from your D-Fi hub or even your smartphone, if you add a FlairCon Air to your rig. What's more, you can create master/slave links between D-Fi equipped lighting fixtures, allowing you to set up sophisticated, automated light shows without even touching a DMX controller or running a single DMX cable.

Chauvet SlimPAR Pro H USB PAR-style Light Features at a Glance:
  • Quality PAR light with low-profile, high-power hex-color (RGBAW+UV) LEDs
  • 6-in-1 LEDs generate a broad spectrum of colors and achieve natural-looking color temperatures
  • Daisy-chain units together in DMX mode
  • No moving parts for quiet operation
  • Non-flicker design is perfect for video applications
  • D-Fi USB compatibility for wireless Master/Slave or DMX control (requires D-Fi USB transceiver)
Get the perfect lighting for your stage or video studio with the Chauvet SlimPAR Pro H USB!

Beyond Par Lighting

I love these lights so much I can't say enough positive things about them. First of all I like the updated version with the power con in and out. The original versions of this light had IEC connectors so this upgrade made me unbelievably happy. I don't use a lot of UV but when I do it creates beautiful pastel colors. It's a whole new pallet of color that we never had before. They are heavy because they are made out of metal which I prefer to a plastic light because if you drop it it doesn't crack. They are bright is they can be sometimes I have to turn them down because they are so bright. If you're looking for a reliablel light that gives you1000% control of the color palette I highly suggest a light. We use them to flood the stage and specifically highlight the drummer.

Good floodlight

We bought 13 of these fixtures to light the stage and baptistry at our cowboy church. We had old, narrow beam, hot, halogen, par cans that were always losing bulbs, or needed to be adjusted again because of hot/cold spots, which required renting a scissor lift. The 28 degree beam angle on these fixtures give a very homogeneous flood at a throw distance of about 25 to 30 feet. We adjusted them to give us about a 4000K color, and there is still plenty of brightness at that setting. With everything full on, it looks closer to 6000K, or more. Overall, we are very pleased with these fixtures, especially the camera crew.

Now for my gripe, since I installed all of these. We purchased eight of these to begin with. All of them came with the standard type of electrical receptacles and cords used by computers and other electronics for years. This allowed you to easily daisy chain the power by plugging the next light into the previous one, up to four fixtures. But the next two bunches of these that we purchased have the new PowerCon power in and power out connectors. And they send you a power cord with a standard male plug on one end, and a PowerCon connector on the other. So you can plug this fixture in and go to town. But if you want to daisy chain the power, you now have to buy or make a special cable with PowerCon connectors on both ends. And they aren't cheap. So I had to buy extension cords to plug in most of the new fixtures of the second and third batches we purchased. I understand why they would use a PowerCon connector, but changing connectors midstream of their production run is not something I planned on when running the new electrical wiring for these fixtures.

Would I buy more of these? Yes. They are very bright, fairly wide beam fixtures that will give you any color you need. Knowing that they have the PowerCon connectors, I would plan to have a receptacle near each fixture, or budget for the special cables. I hope this helps.

Great light with Great Features

Bought 10 of these for use in our church and we could not be happier. I don't believe you could go wrong with these. We have them mounted about 40ft back and 20ft high and the brightness of the lights are perfect. D-Fi USB functionality works amazingly as well.

Chauvet DJ SlimPar Pro H

Over all I am pleased with this light. I have a total of 32 of them. The build quality is good and I like the fact they do not have fans. I don't use the UV much, but these are the first lights I've had with the amber LED and I do like that very much when using them as a front light. I would give them 4.5 or 5 stars if it was not for the D-Fi. I'm sure this adds to the cost and as a reliable wireless solution, it is totally useless! *Might* be good enough for an install, but at this point I would not trust it even for that. I do many different types of gigs both inside and out. I have to have something I can bring in and know it is going to work all the time. The D-Fi is nowhere near reliable. I have tired many channels at different venues and it will work sometimes and sometimes not at all. At times the fixture would just 'hang' and stop responding to DMX. I would have to power cycle the light, or remove the D-Fi and reinsert it. Outside of this it is a very good light.

Sound and lights company

Bright led par!
Love the warm white feature.

Sweetwater lighting techs, DJs, and musicians alike have the deepest respect for Chauvet, both on the personal and on the professional side. Many of us first became acquainted with Chauvet before LED technology caught on, and it's been impressive to see their range of fixtures grow. Today, Chauvet offers some of our most popular LED lights, from drop-in PAR replacements and intelligent lighting instruments to exciting effects, foggers, haze machines, and more. We also love their innovation. Chauvet has brought LED technology to classic fixtures like ellipsoidal and Fresnels, while their D-Fi system has made wireless DMX truly accessible. Top it off with powerful hardware controllers, next-gen DMX control software, and much more, and we're happy to recommend the Chauvet gear we not only stock but also use ourselves.
