The SHIM button - what it really does

The first time you push the Skyline Verb's SHIM button, you'll find yourself engulfed in a vast blanket of shimmering, resounding echo. Just how does the Skyline Verb do this? By adding a one octave overtone to the reverb, the pedal creates a resonant, textured shimmer that will sound absolutely amazing on anything you run through it. Of course, regardless of how the function works, you'll love the way it sounds!

The Hotone Skyline Series - tiny and stylish

Less than two inches high, less than three inches long, and weighing in at less than 7 ounces, the Hotone Skyline Series of stompboxes offers a compact design, rugged build, and flexible tone. Encompassing a variety of effects including a looper, tuner, delay, octaver, tremolo, various overdrive and distortion effects, and more, all Skyline pedals have a durable zinc alloy outer cover, a transparent top knob that is lit up by two LED lights, and two other knobs that glow in the dark. Each pedal also has a button that gives you more tonal options. These pedals also have a metal bar to prevent you from accidentally moving the knobs with your foot when stomping on the footswitch. The Hotone Skyline Series delivers massive sound in a microscopic package!

Just great

It was a surprise to me how good this pedal sounds. I compared it to several reverbs and this one has an interesting versatility with only a few knobs and buttons. It has a beautiful spring reverb sounding if you calibrate well, and also you can make interesting effects by playing with its features. I also have Hotone Whip and if it past the use-and-time test it is a great buy,

Not too shabby

I bought for shimmer and I thought would work great for surf wetness also. Nice shim overtones. Not wild though. Has nice room reverb. And even hall is nice but doesn't have that wet spring reverb sound when You palmmute. 70 bucks isn't bad best bang for buck for two different reverb styles and a bonus of a on off shimmer
Music background: Blues rock and ambient

In search of the smaller pedal board, I thought I'd give the Hotone line a try. The Verb is OK. Doesn't do much as far as variety and getting just the right length of reverb is a touchy balance. A little overpriced but I'll continue to use it in a practice setting.
