    Hotone pedals are solid!

This gives a nice slapback sound as well as those trippy spaced-out echo sounds. I bought it to replace my old Danelectro Dan-Echo. The Skyline Eko is less expensive and less than a quarter of the size, though it's every bit as sturdy. More so, in fact. Granted, the Dan could give a longer delay time, and it had a "high-cut" knob, but those aren't essential features for my needs. Also, the Dan was noisy, but the Hotone has no hissing or humming. This is great for getting all kinds of delay sounds, from Pink Floyd to U2. Well-built and easy to use!

    Tiny and does the trick

Most importantly, this pedal sounds great and seems to be very solidly built. It is definitely a digital delay - the repeats are very clean, no graininess like an analog delay. That's fine with me. I have both and use both. The configuration with the Time knob at the top of the pedal is a bit odd to get used to, but in practice it works well. The only thing to consider - and the only reason I'm giving a 4.5 instead of a 5 - is that the small size may be an issue for some. I have mine sitting in an otherwise unusable "no man's land" space on my pedalboard where no other pedal could fit. That works fine for me, and I've not had any issues with the relatively small target of the switch. If you've got big feet - or maybe if you wear big boots at gigs - stepping on this may be an issue depending on where it sits on your board. For me it's fine, but it's something you might want to consider. Oh, and the Mod button is subtle but I like it and generally just leave it on. I'm a fan and I plan to get more Hotone pedals.

    Great pedal for the price

To my ears this little guy sounds great. The controls are very easy to use and it sure doesn't take up much space. It has a very quiet switch and doesn't add any noise to your signal. It also looks very professionally put together. Thanks Hotone.

    phase reverses/inverts when engaged

I really like the sound of this as long delay...BUT...It will flip the phase of your signal when its engaged. You will only notice this if you run 2 amps and dedicate this effect to only one guitar amp or the other. Not a big deal if you are the only guitarist and run 1 amp.
