Classic Vibrato Effects plus TonePrint Technology!

TC Electronic packs a whole lot of vibe and character into their new Shaker vibrato pedal. This amazing (and very pedalboard-friendly) little stompbox gives you classic vibrato effects that range from subtle to headspinning. Use the speed, depth, rise time, and level knobs to dial in your ideal vibrato effect, then hit the switch. Or, you can set the Shaker to Latch mode, which makes this pedal do its thing only when your foot is holding down the switch. That's major live flexibility! But, TC didn't stop there. They equipped the Shaker with a USB connector and added TonePrint technology. What's TonePrint? Believe it or not, TonePrint allows you to download custom settings from some of the hottest guitarists out there. You'll never get tired of this pedal!

Vibey cool sounds, very impressive

If you are wanting to put out some unique vibey, psychedelic sounds, this would be a great pedal for that purpose. Put this pedal on Latch mode and hold the button to make a whammy sound at the end of your solo, or at the end of a chord when you hold it out. Add some delays or reverbs with this pedal, and it truly stands out on its potential! I owned this pedal for the last month and it has made me more creative musically then ever before. With its true bypass where you do not here any noise what so ever when it is on or off. Definitely worth to invest in this pedal, and recommend you buy this off sweet water as well! They offer 2 year tech support on just about all their products.

Interesting and Unique Pedal

At first I was a bit skeptical as to the usefulness of this pedal, but since I have have been playing with the Shaker Vibrato, I have been very pleased and the box has opened up a number of sonic options. This is not a tremlo box. It is better. The Shaker adds true vibrato to your tone in a variety of ways. You can adjust the sound from obvious synthesized space lazer or surf like vibration all the way down to a very subtle background swirl much like a slow phaser or flanger. The latch feature is nice. It allows you to throw in a quick wammy bar vibrato to a note or chord without having to hit the switch twice. Your guitar may not have a vibrato bar, and this allows you to utilize a similar effect without drilling your adding one to your axe. Finally, toneprint allows you to customizeand add different effects. Great features and a ton of different effects in one box. I'm very happy with this pedal as I am with all the new TC Electronic stompboxes. Highly recommended.

lots of options

I bought this as a "fun" pedal to have on my board but after playing around with it for an hour, I realized it was going to replace my chorus pedal. great for subtle chorus to rotary to ray gun. Latch mode is fun and its nice to be able to download tone prints. FYI some tone prints work as latches and others as normal. Took me awhile to figure that out.

Great sound, but a wonky switch

I love the tone coming out of this pedal. The rise time is an awesome feature and this could potentially replace my chorus pedal even though they work quite differently. I have a real issue with the switch on this pedal. The first one I got had a very stiff click to it and created a pop through the amp when switching it on and off. I have three other TC pedals and none of them have this switching issue, so I asked Sweetwater for a warranty replacement, The customer service folks were awesome and shipped me a new one and even included a return shipping label so I didn't have to cover the cost of that. Nice job guys! The real disappointing thing was the second one had the same stiff switch, but didn't make that audible pop. Not sure if I just had some bad luck or if this is common to the shaker pedal, especially since the shaker is the only TC pedal I had this issue with. Since it does sound good and doesn't have the pop anymore, I guess I'll just go with this one instead of asking Sweetwater for another replacement, but I don't think I would replace this pedal if it were lost or stolen.
