I just purchased this 8 string Beauty.
Not only is the sound incredible,but I can't put down it has sparked (opened my eyes) to a new interest in playing again.

You need one!

I have been wanting an 8 String for quite a while but wasn't sure if it would be all that I thought it would be. All I can say is I am impressed with this Bass. Perfectly playable right out of the Box. The Neck was surprisingly comfortable, Finish and Hardware very nice and the Sound fills the Room. I am in a 3 piece Band and this thing sounded like there was a Bass player, second Guitar and Keys. Great Price for such an amazing Bass.

Pro Instrument at a bargain price

Pros: Top notch hardware, pickups and electronics, solid construction, well balanced and attention to detail at a basic import price. Hats off to Schecter.
Cons: Finish is kinda "blah", but who cares. The volume pot binds a bit midway through its travel but will probably smooth out. Other than that, I can't find even a stripped screw.
