Hotter than you would think, but sounds great!

I grabbed this pickup for the bridge in my Mexican Tele based on the sound samples on Seymour Duncan's website. I play mostly alt-rock, but I also do some ambient stuff. First, a word of warning: This pickup is much hotter than the samples would lead you to believe. I'm using a couple of pedals just to get it to quiet down even on clean or light crunch settings. All that being said, the clarity of the Quarter Pounder is excellent and if you need a searing lead tone than this definitely fits the bill. As for Sweetwater, what else can I say? I only buy from here. Chris Lewis is great. The selection, pricing, and service are all excellent. When it comes to delivery speed, these guys are the Chinese restaurant of online music retailers. I hit "order" and it seemed like it was here 20 minutes later!
