Schecter Stiletto Extreme 5 - Black Cherry

This guitar made my son's Christmas. The individuals working for Sweetwater are real gentleman and extrmely helpful. Thanks for the candy. Small gifts do not go unnoticed. I will be visiting your site in the future. Happy New Year, Jeff and Jim

great sound

This is a great guitar. It plays great and sounds great. And looks great too. The craftsmanship that went in to making it is great too. I really appreciate the staff at Sweetwater, you guys went way beyond the norm to ensure my satisfaction. I will be a loyal customer from now on. Can't thank you enough!

Great sound

First of all, I received the bass the next day even though I was told that since I ordered it on a Thursday night I probably wouldn't receive it until Monday. It sounds great! And it doesn't weight much, which was a primary concern for me since I am a girl. I would recommend this bass to anyone.

Sexy and Sweet

Aside from just looking sexy as hell, this thing plays nicely. Though they're marketed as metal basses, this bass can sound both aggressive and edgy, as well as silky smooth, depending on pickup & eq knob adjustments. So, for how they look and sound, they're both amazing. I'm a bit disappointed, however, at how often I have to adjust the bridge...seems the my strings slowly lower, and I keep having to raise them up at the bridge (whatever those allen wrench screws are called that raise and lower the height of each string at the bridge). I've never had to do this on a regular basis. Also, one of the knobs seems to rub against the body of the bass while turning it. Seems like it shouldn't have passed inspection because of it. Not a big deal, but just a minor nuisance.

bass guitar

A great guitar for the price, good crisp tone , good low end. I can't say anything bad about it. I have small hands so this is the bass for me, brings back memories. Thanks sweetwater and a special thanks to Kurt.
