Underpowered

By Marty from Demver on September 9, 2018 Music Background: Live sound engineer & musician

I absolutely love all of the Line 6 mains/monitors and I really expected this to be amazing as well. But this speaker is severely underpowered and can"t keep up with the mains at all. I tried every setting on the speaker, I used the L6 link funtion, and I even used a separate rack crossover to see if I could get the speaker to get it to push air but it just can"t really keep up with the mains above the lowest volumes. I used this in multiple settings (acoustic acts, small/large bands, DJ, indoor/outdoor gigs) and it was never enough unless it was a very low volume gig in a small room (like a small coffee shop). You can do WAY better with almost any 15" active sub that costs half the price of this sub. Line 6 makes amazing gear but this really misses the mark completely.

Great Sub

By Peter from Delray Beach, FL on May 23, 2014 Music Background: Pro Musician

Thanks to our SW rep we went with this unit and we couldn't be happier. It transports easily and sounds great. We mainly play acoustic beach music, but this has also performed well when we recently played a show with heavier rock. Needless to say when we are playing reggae this sub shines. Hats off to Line 6 on the Stagesource line up!!!!

Also performed great in-between sets with a DJ.

Thunderous

By R. Johan B. from North Coast of CA, USA on October 19, 2013 Music Background: Pro Musician, Amateur Live & Recording Engineer

Set these up a couple of times now, along with the L3t speakers & the m20d mixer. These subs are quite loud, and will shake the floor with the low end as much as you'd want. I had them up at about 80%, EQed the low end at the mixer until these thundered, then backed off just a little. The bands were quite happy with their sound, bass players were esctatic.
I experienced no clipping at all. Clipping could occur if the incoming signal is too hot, but that is pretty much a universal thing.

Fantastic Product

By Glen from Central MN on May 14, 2013 Music Background: Manager of Pro Musicians

Once again an amazing product from Line 6 Great design. Feels much lighter than it is with all the handles and wheels. The sound is articulate and clear at any level.
I did not rate a 5 because I would make the pole mount multi-use by having it the traditional 35mm socket and at the bottom of the socket have the 21mm threads. This would make a much more sucure mount.
Customer service from line 6 is outstanding. As well as Sweetwater!
Will be buying more of line 6 from Sweetwater.

Nice Sub

By Rob Snow from Walla Walla on March 13, 2013 Music Background: DJ, Promoter,

I've used this a few times now in different settings. Live band, DJ, as additional speakers and for speaking. This sub is great. Love the adjustable crossover, and varied speaker settings. I like that I can place it standing up or lying on it's side depending on the situation. The wheels are smooth make transporting a lot easier. This speaker is bigger than I expected.
Cons, it is not as loud as I was hoping. It is loud, but the clip light blinks at half way on the dial.
