Stunning Looks with Performance to Match

From solid riffs to intense solos, the Jackson Soloist SLXT Q solidbody electric guitar is the affordable axe you want in your arsenal. The first things you'll notice when you pick up your Soloist SLXT Q is how comfortable it feels. Although the body's topped with eye-catching quilt maple, the rest is lightweight basswood contoured with classic Soloist curves. The neck is topped with a compound-radius fretboard, a favorite design among rockers here at Sweetwater because it lets you fret chords and solo with ease. Top it off with Duncan Designed humbuckers, and you have an axe that looks, plays, and sounds like it belongs onstage.

Jackson Soloist SLXT Q Solidbody Electric Guitar at a Glance:

  • Duncan Designed humbucking pickups deliver rock-ready tone
High-performance design puts you in touch with your music

One of Jackson's mottoes is "Choose wisely. Play better." That's not just hype either. The fact is, a well-made guitar, like a Soloist SLXT Q, gives you a closer connection to your music. For instance, the Soloist SLXT Q features a compound-radius fretboard, which is more rounded at the nut and flatter higher up the neck. This makes it easy to fret chords near the nut, while opening up the fretboard for soloing. The flatter higher frets also let you keep your action low, without bottoming out when you bend notes. And thanks to its neck-through-body design, the Soloist SLXT Q also gives you epic sustain.

Compensated string-through design for fast action and stability

If you love the stability and ultra-fast response of a hardtail bridge, then you'll love the tight action of the Soloist SLXT Q. Jackson gave the Soloist SLXT Q a high-quality Jackson Compensated adjustable bridge. This highly stable setup locks down your action, keeps your intonation solid, and ensures that your harmonics are always crisp. Combined with the neck-through construction and string-through-body design, the Soloist SLXT Q gives you truly epic sustain!

Duncan Designed humbucking pickups deliver rock-ready tone

Great feel is only part of the equation. Jackson knows this better than just about any guitar maker. That's why they've equipped the Soloist SLXT Q with a set of extra-hot Duncan Designed humbucking pickups. An HB-103N pickup at the neck and an HB-102B at the bridge give you well-balanced tone with tight bass, glassy mids, and crunching highs.

unpleasantly suprised

I just received this guitar as a early Christmas present. My first thought was that it was nice but needed some work. I figured it was bought during the black Friday blow out sale or something and I thought it was ok. I now see how wrong I was. The frets felt like they were polished with a wood file, The pick up are junk and it says its neck thru but for the life of me I don't see how it could be. Kerf joint at the headstock and 4 separate sections of wood at the body/neck joint. The neck is not one piece thru the body. I just put new pick ups and pots in it, polished the frets some and it works pretty good. This guitar is an absolute rip off for the money they are asking, even at the sale price. My Adrian Smith cost less and was much better quality. This is the first time I have been disappointed with anything from Sweetwater but, it big time disappointment. I have 7 Charvel and Jackson guitars among others and this is buy far the least bang for your buck.
