SLX Diversity Wireless Systems from Shure!

Suited for installed sound applications and working bands, Shure's new SLX Wireless Systems offer Shure's patented Audio Reference Companding technology, along with a setup complete with automatic synchronization, SLX supports up to 20 compatible systems (area dependent). The new system, which sits in between Shure's Performance Gear Wireless and ULX Wireless lines, is a logical choice for houses of worship, corporate boardrooms, lecture halls, and portable road cases.

This operates at 572.000-596.000 MHz.

SLX: Clear Transmissions
The SLX sound is founded on Shure's patented Audio Reference Companding, a technology which brings more transmission clarity and dynamic range to wireless systems. Unlike traditional wireless companding schemes that are restricted by a fixed compression ratio, this technology utilizes a variable compression ratio. The result is the elimination of wireless artifacts during quiet passages and superior dynamic range says Shure.

SLX: Simple Setup!
On an operational level, the SLX system employs features that make setup almost effortless. Utilizing Auto Frequency Selection and Auto Transmitter Setup, the SLX system scans the wireless landscape and identifies a clear channel instantly. Then, guided by an infrared link, at the touch of a button the transmitter automatically syncs with the receiver. With over 960 operating frequencies across 24 MHz of UHF bandwidth, you should be able to quickly and easily set up up to 20 systems in a given location (area dependent).

This is the SLX2/Beta 87A handheld microphone.

Worry-free Wireless!

We wanted you to know that all of the wireless systems you see here — and all of the wireless systems available at Sweetwater — are 100% compliant with the Federal Communication Commission's new rules governing wireless systems. You can be confident that these systems will work safely and within the permitted frequency/power ranges, just as they are. However, please be aware that by choosing to use systems that operate in the 700MHz range or by modifying a new wireless system you receive from us, you may cause your system to operate outside the FCC's new guidelines. If that's the case, you may need a license to operate the unit. To find out more, visit the FCC's wireless microphone website at www.fcc.gov/cgb/wirelessmicrophones or give them a call at (888) CALL-FCC.

Great Mc

This mic is awesome. We used it for my wife's vocal students. Most of them are pretty good. The other mics we had were a discontinued Shure system with the 58 cartridge and a PGX with the 58 cartridge. Most of her students are girls and the difference was night and day. This mc has so much clarity and signal strength. Have used a hard wired 87a at my music venue and this is just as good sounding. My wife uses the Shure UR2 system with the KSM9 cartridge (best of the best) but enjoyed using this nearly as much. We will be getting another SLX mic with the beta 58 cartridge which I also generally with male vocals. You won't regret this purchase regardless of your vocals, but I like it the best for females and high tenors.

clear solid value

Better hope your vocalist is ready to hear themselves in a completely transparent and clearly presented fashion... a mic that does not add any color or tone... only those of the performer. Also includes very user and engineer friendly functionality.
