Neck-through design for monumental sustain

The Jackson Pro Soloist SL2Q MAH owes its great tone and sustain in part to something you won't even notice at first glance: a neck-through-body design. The 1-piece through-body maple neck doesn't just join the body - it's actually part of the body! This configuration contributes to sustain in a big way, since the entire guitar is structurally integrated with the pickups, bridge, and tailpiece affixed to the actual neck.

Optimized fingerboard provides comfort and serious speed

At Sweetwater, we've played a lot of guitars, and we can attest - the Jackson Pro Soloist SL2Q MAH's ebony fingerboard is one of the fastest, thanks to its 12"-16" compound-radius. The radiused fingerboard makes chords easier to form close to the nut and is flatter up the neck for faster lead lines. Down low, your fretting hand will appreciate the 12" radius that keeps things nice and comfortable for natural, relaxed chord work. Up top, a 16" radius lays it all out flat for effortless, low-action, high-speed runs with monumental string bends without fretting out. In other words, it's effortless to switch between rhythm and lead playing on the Pro Soloist SL2Q MAH.

Genuine Floyd Rose tremolo for insane dive-bombing

In typical Jackson fashion, this incredible guitar was built with nothing but quality hardware onboard. That's why they gave the Pro Soloist SL2Q MAH guitar a Floyd Rose FRT-O2000 double-locking tremolo tailpiece. The recessed Floyd Rose tremolo tailpiece gives you the real feel of an original Floyd Rose, adding to the Pro Soloist SL2Q MAH's amazingly responsive feel.

Jackson Pro Soloist SL2Q MAH Solidbody Electric Guitar Features:
  • Solidbody electric guitar loaded with pro-level features

awesome

amazing guitar it came setup correctly right out of the box. i went over the guitar with a fine tooth comb and everything checked out all frets were level no sharp edges at all the frets are very impressive actually. the neck profile is awesome nice and thin the bridge was level out of the box but i did change the strings to ernie ball m steel 10-46 but thats preferance. guitar has great sound and great sustain even though these are high output pickups if you roll the volume off a little you can get plenty of classic rock tones and with everything at max in the bridge position its a total shred machine.i love this guitar i think itll be with me for quite a long time. also an interesting note i havent seen mentioned anywhere is the electronics cover is shielded from the factory i know this isnt a big deal but some like me appreciate details like that. just buy it you wont be disappointed! even if duncan distortions arent your cup of tea a pickup change is simple enough. im considering putting a set of bareknuckle pickups in this but for me its more about the look cause honestly these pickups sound as good to me as those do in my les paul im gonna stop talking buy it now!
