Seymour Duncan SJBJ-1n JB Jr. Neck Humbucker Strat Pickup - White Reviews
Over the years, we've modded a ton of Strats at Sweetwater, and while many Strats come routed for a humbucker at the bridge, fitting a full-sized humber at the neck can be a real pain. That's why we're so glad to offer this single-coil sized Seymour Duncan's JB Jr. SJBJ-1. It may be half the size of the original JB, but the SJBJ-1 delivers the tone of this hugely successful humbucker. What's more, its pole pieces are adjustable, allowing it to more closely emulate the magnetic field of a full-size humbucker along with controlling the string-to-string balance. While its not quite as hot as a Duncan Hot Rails model, the high-end response of the JB Jr. SJBJ-1 more than makes up for it. If you play a Strat and you want to toss a Duncan JB humbucker in the neck, the JB Jr. SJBJ-1 is a total no-brainer.

Great mini humbucker
Great sounding humbucker! I installed this in my EJ Strat because I just don't use the bridge in it as is. Now my strat is more versatile and I never need to grab my les paul. I mean, it doesn't make a strat sound like a les paul, but it sounds GREAT. Which is what really matters. Installing was easy. I went to their website for wiring diagrams and the only issue I had was fitting it under the pickguard. The wires were kind of in the way when closing my pickguard. I'm very happy with it and when I'm happy with a product, or upset, I make a review. Id recommend this humbucker for anyone who doesn't like the single coil bridge sound.
This pickup delivers
The Seymour Duncan JB Jr. is one hell of a fine pickup in a single coil-sized package. I installed the JB Jr. in the bridge, a Duckbucker in the middle position and the Duncan Little '59er in the bridge. It's a great combination made more versatile with a custom wiring setup.
I decided to build a custom Strat from aftermarket parts and wanted it to be a serious rock and blues guitar and with this pickup in the bridge, I can really make a statement in my solos. It has great harmonics, sounds really good with overdrive and other pedals and with the volume rolled off, I get a still powerful, but cleaner tone. What can I say, it works well for me.
If you have a Strat and are looking for more power in the bridge, this pickup is an excellent choice.
Perfect
Put this in the neck position hoping to brighten things up a bit.
Gives me the tone I was looking for. Seymour Duncan rules!
