One Pickup, Three Tones!

A ton of tonal options from a single pickup! That's what you get from Seymour Duncan P-Rails! The P-Rails pickup fits inside any standard humbucker opening and gives you the choice of P-90, humbucking, and single-coil sounds all from the same pickup! These aren't close facsimiles of these lauded pickups; they're spot-on because they are the real thing. A real P-90 is paired with a blade pickup. Alone, the P-90 is loaded with great P-90 sounds. When paired with the blade, you get thick humbucking tones. Rounding out the trifecta, the blade alone conjures classic single-coil sounds. The P-Rails pickup is a tone-hungry guitarists dream come true!

Taming a Telecaster

I put a P-Rail with triple play in the bridge of my Fender Modern Player telecaster, Gives you rails for very tele like sound, P90 for more growl and Humbucker in series or parallel for Rock, Blues, even some metal. I tried a Dimarzio Tonezone and found it too muddy. I tried a Seymour Duncan JB which was still to bright. The P-rail has balanced bass Treble and mids.

Seymour Duncan P-Rails and Sweetwater

I love the versatility of these pickups and the tonal possibilities, especially when paired with the SD triple shot pup rings. Very distinct differences in the voicing. I have installed them on several guitars with always gratifying results. And who better to purchase them from than Sweetwater! Always great service!
