Picky Guitarists Choose Clayton Picks

Since the 1980s, Clayton has rocked the guitar world with their amazing selection of guitar picks. Clayton manufactures their picks from start to finish in their factory in (appropriately named) Talent, OR. They offer a treasure trove of pick materials, shapes, and gauges. Your pick is a major component of your sound. The shape, material, and thickness defines your note attack and tone. The surface feel is also a highly personal choice (you don't want your pick flying out of your fingers at an inopportune moment). Sweetwater offers a huge selection of Clayton picks. Stock up today!

Clayton's Sand Shark guitar picks are hard to drop, thanks to the sandy grip surface. The sandy grip covers the sweet spot of the pick, so you get a good grip even when you're chocking right up to the point of the pick.

Clayton Sand Shark Picks

Best picks ever! They cost a little more; but as my granddaddy use to say,"ya git what ya'll paid for."Thank's Sweetwater.

Too bright

Sand is too close to the tip. Keep hearing and feeling it contact the strings. I usually use Coolpick Juratex .6mm. There is a definite difference from those- as these have a much harsher and brighter attack as if the edge was much harder than the Coolpicks. That may be what some are after- but not for me.

Avoid . . .

I regularly use V-picks and heavy "Cool" brand picks. I was ordering some other gear, thought I'd get some picks (I guess Sweetwater doesn't carry "Cool"), and threw these "Clayton"s in my order. I will never use them to perform (not even give-aways). Upon opening the package, sand was coming off in the bag and on my fingers. Unless you like stuff on your fingers, stay away.
