Changed my sound

I love Rotosound strings. I made the switch to flatwound on my two main basses this year and I put these on my Fender '51 re-issue precision bass. I fell in love with that bass all over again after putting these strings on. It gave me the sound and feel I had been looking for. You cant beat Rotosound bass strings, and it doesn't hurt I'm a huge Steve Harris and Iron Maiden fan.

Sound like 'Arry

To sound like Steve Harris these strings are a must. Your volume will go down slightly but they are easy to play finger style. Be warned the create a lot of tension. I would not recommend for use on skinny neck basses.Love them

'Arry' strings

I changed out my old strings for these. Love the way these sound. Once I got my Steve Harris signature P-bass, I had to purchase new ones to replace the factory ones. Bad***. Up The Irons!

Thats Harris sound

I like these strings a lot but don't use them on a thunderbird as they stress the neck and tailpiece. They are big and the feel great. I have always liked the sound of these strings .The don't growl like roundwound strings but the have a great sound when equalized correctly. They sounds great for about three months then they get dead sounding. All Rotosound strings are of very high quality and worth the extra bucks

Agressive Flats

These are some agressive sounding flats. Very metallic sounding to me. I didn't like the sticky feeling of light corosion I felt when I first put these on. They are just in paper envelopes in there. Not air tight. If they have been on the shelf a while I guess they will get this patina and slow down your playing. HOWEVER, after like a week of practice all the grey stuff came off on my fingers and the strings seem to be more smooth. They are also kinda stiff. Not my cup of tea. Looking for the next set to try already.
