Since the 1980s, Clayton has rocked the guitar world with their amazing selection of guitar picks. Clayton manufactures their picks from start to finish in their factory in (appropriately named) Talent, OR. They offer a treasure trove of pick materials, shapes, and gauges. Your pick is a major component of your sound. The shape, material, and thickness defines your note attack and tone. The surface feel is also a highly personal choice (you don't want your pick flying out of your fingers at an inopportune moment). Sweetwater offers a huge selection of Clayton picks. Stock up today!

Clayton's Sand Shark guitar picks are hard to drop, thanks to the sandy grip surface. The sandy grip covers the sweet spot of the pick, so you get a good grip even when you're chocking right up to the point of the pick.

Use nothing else but sand sharks!

I love these picks. At first, the texture startled me a bit, but after playing once or twice, I use nothing else!

Great picks

I love these picks. It took me a day or two to adjust, but once I adjusted, I don't want to play with anything else!

Clayton Sand Shark Picks

Best picks ever! They cost a little more; but as my granddaddy use to say,"ya git what ya'll paid for."Thank's Sweetwater.

Good pick

The sand on the pick is great for grip and actually holds up longer than I expected. With that said, it does wear off and then you got a pretty standard pick. I like em thin and the .50mm works great for me.
Music background: gigging musician, classic rock and some country.

I Think you need a bigger boat

So far I have only used these for a few hours. Will try again as I go through ugh..... a few picks per month. Initial observation is that they grab great sound is similar to tortex. As for durability as stated I cannot at this time say.Time will tell but I don't see any reason they should fail.I didn't give it a 5 because lets face it its a a piece of plastic not a 57 Les.
