    Excellent Pickup

Used in an Epi Les Paul Customer - changes personality entirely from muddy and inarticulate to bell like buttery neck pick up tones with plenty of push through a band's midrange rumble. I'm always incredibly OCD about tone and this meets my demands.

    Awesome Pickup

I am a fan of Seymour Duncan Pickups and I have been for many years. every guitar I own has them. I love the Jazz neck model paired with the Duncan distortion in the bridge, great combo.

    Dr. Seymour is the Fix!

I had a problem. A Beautiful PRS SE Custom 24 30th Anniversary that just didn't sound as good as it could. I knew after I got the guitar that I would be replacing the pickups down the road. I went with a set that I knew would breath the awesome sound that I knew that this guitar was capable of. I removed the G&B stock pickups. They just wasn't as clear and sounded muddy to me. I installed a set of tried and true Zebra Duncan SH-4 JB in the bridge and a SH-2 Jazz in the neck. I decided to not wire in the coil split option due to the fact that I just don't use it and not crazy about single coils except P-90's. WOW...It turned this PRS into a Fire Breathing Dragon. I have a couple of Gibson's and I do know that know matter how good the guitar is and how well it's made, pickups, can make or break. I have used this set in the past and knew that I would be happy with the results. You cant go wrong with these pickups. The JB is screaming and ballsy and the Jazz is warm and clear. I compare these to the 498T and 490R or a 57 Classics and Classic Plus set from Gibson. A great combination from Seymour Duncan. Thanks again to Patrick and the guys at Sweetwater!!

    Sweet Sounding Neck Pickup

I replaced the stock pickups in my Epiphone Les Paul with this in the neck and a JB in the bridge. The stock pickup sounded okay clean but thru an overdriven amp it was very muddy. The Jazz is a very open sounding pickup with excellent clarity and note definition even thru an overdriven amp. It's just a great choice for the neck position on a Les Paul

Better than a beginner but no where near where I want to be YET!

    Probably THE best neck p/u

This pickup has some sweet tones and harmonics. I put it in with a Dimebucker at the bridge and wow, clean to nasty and everything in between. Try it, you'll like it....
