NIce Pick-Ups

I bought a set of these to upgrade the factory pick-ups in my '95 Epiphone MiK LP Standard. Only reason I didn't rate a 5 is that I can't say it "blew me away" I really like the sound, crisp but warm, not to trebly and not to muddy. It did not however magically turn me into Jimmy Page, although my Black Dog and Heartbreaker are a little closer now. I installed with 50s JP wiring with 4 push/pulls, and .022 vitamin Q caps and it's great fun. I would definitely recommend these to anybody chasing the tone. SWEETWATER CUSTOMER SERVICE IS EXCELLENT.

Whole Lotta Humbucker (Bridge)

It's a quality product, and I'm huge fan of Jimmy Page's playing and music, but the pickup was (to my ear) very compressed and lacking in the loose, raw, ragged qualities that I so enjoy in Page's playing. For my ear, playing style, and gear, the Seth Lover bridge was a much better fit, with great "What is and What Should Never Be" outro tones from the bridge and good "The Crunge" sounds in the middle position with a Pearly Gates neck. And yes, the Sweetwater service was their usual stuff: always outstanding.
