PRS's SE Angelus line gives you amazing acoustic sound for a great low price

When PRS first turned their attention to acoustic guitars, it became instantly clear that Paul Reed Smith can make acoustic guitars with the best of them. And when PRS announced the SE Angelus line, those of us who have played their SE electric guitars for years got really excited - and for good reason. If you're not already familiar with the SE concept, these foreign-made models put many US-made guitars to shame - and at a price that's so good it almost isn't fair. When you get your hands on a PRS SE Angelus A10E acoustic-electric guitar, you'll be flat-out amazed by the look, feel, and above all, sound of this affordable instrument. Take it from the Sweetwater crew - the PRS SE Angelus A10E will give you years of great performance.

Fine tonewoods meet signature PRS appointments

The PRS Angelus A10E features an Angelus body with a solid mahogany top and mahogany back and sides. The neck of this Angelus A10E follows Paul Reed Smith's "wide" neck shape and is carved from choice mahogany. A bound rosewood fretboard gives the neck extremely smooth feel and rich tones, and the signature bird inlays denote the Angelus as a member of the PRS family at first glance. In all, the Angelus A10E manages to strike the perfect balance between modern eye-catching adornments and a traditional acoustic appearance that's steeped in history.

Undersaddle pickup system provides excellent sound onstage

Naturally, great acoustic sound is one of the most important things about any acoustic guitar, but when you're up on stage in a crowded venue or a noisy bar, no acoustic guitar is going to be loud enough on its own. PRS outfitted their SE Angelus A10E with an undersaddle pickup system. The pickup system naturally senses vibration right at the point where it's the clearest and most intense. This gives you a clear and strong voice, with a very low chance of feedback. A soundhole remote lets you tweak the PRS SE Angelus A10E's volume and tone quickly and easily.

PRS ANGELUS A10 E

Sweet water service is off the charts, my sales engineer Ryan Murray sent me pictures of some guitars to pick from and the guitar showed up the next day, the guitar is stunning and flawless, the finish on the mahogany wood is warm and beautiful, I just love the feel of the guitar, it plays like an electric, love the tones that come out of it too, sounds great plugged in too, once again Hats of to Sweetwater, they hit this one out of the park, big thanks to PRS too

Mahogany masterpiece

This guitar is so much more than I expected even after reading the reviews and watching the demos online. Visually beautiful and rich-looking piece of art. I love it. The sound is very rich and full of beautiful harmonics and overtones. Perfectly balanced sound to my ear. The bass is there but not overwhelming or boomy but a solid foundation for the rest of the beautiful tones coming out of this box. If you're thinking about getting one you're on the right track. I had to wait a couple of months to get mine and I'm truly glad that I waited. I have had a handful of good acoustics including a solid mahogany Martin that cost three times as much. There is no doubt that this PRS mahogany plays and sounds better. Replaced the stock strings with Daddario nickel bronze and I will stick with that. I can't describe the sound but I can tell you that this thing is addictive.

Awesome guitar

Ordered on a Wednesday, was delivered on a Friday. The guitar was perfectly set up out of the box, and sounds fantastic. This guitar is exactly what I was looking for in terms of both price and quality. Looks beautiful hanging on my wall, and sounds fantastic. If you're in the market for a good mid-range acoustic, you can do a lot worse for the price, but it would be difficult to do better.

Great affordable PRS!

I had been shopping around for a while trying to fine a decent mid priced guitar for a while and I stumbled upon this one. I have always loved PRS but had not tried the acoustic or the SE lines. Let me tell you I am VERY happy with this guitar. The feel and playability is great and excellent tone from the all mahogany body. The action feels more electric than acoustic. Mahogany body, bird inlays, and a nice hard case included for under $600!!! In summary I love it and would definitely recommend this guitar to anyone.
