PRS SE 30 head another good workmanship

Instead of other reviews I must say after looking for a versatile
2chanel tubeamp head the search has ended with a good made
PRS 30 amphead. With a good pair of 12er Cuatomspeakers in
a closed cab (WGS ET 65 plus Reaper HP) the sound is awsome
good, very articulated clean chanel which you could use with a lot of stompboxes to find your way.
The overdrive/leadchanel is not what someone expected: Another
in the face high gain amp, but more a overdriven classic rock tone.

If someone finds the sound too dirty or weak, please guys try other
    preamptubes and you will see!
The Tungsol tubes 5881 by far the best chose for this little amp!
Small, not to heavy and has all the things a good guitarist needs.
Another way is to play good, if thats not the way you may look for
another amp! For me this amp sounds better than a lot of others
in this range. A liittle pricey but for the technical building absolutely
    fine! Good Work Mr PRS.

    Two thumbs... DOWN

In theory the amp is a great idea; two channels, global reverb, FX Loop, etc. However, the tone is far from representing the great PRS sound and brand. Clean is average but dirt channel is NOWHERE near what you hear in the PRS Website demo. In that demo, it sounds like the Lead channel is warm, thick and punchy. THE COMPLETE opposite! Below 12 PM, it's a manageable crunch/overdrive. Once at noon and/or after, it's like a Fuzz Pedal cranked 100%. No note definition or clarity.
