Keyboard Mounting Clamps

Works great, very sturdy. Really love the Gibraltar products.

Could use some design improvements

It does the job, but could use some design improvement. The two bars are permanently in place and can't be moved forward or back. Also this design could be improved by how the contact point of the post grips hold onto the item. My module has inputs all the way across the back and the posts interfere with the hookup. I'm going to have to mod something to fix that issue.

Sturdy with a design flaw/omission

Very well built but there is a bit of a flaw in the design. You cannot move the rails up or down they are screwed into the base mounting bracket. This isn't an issue if you like where they sit and you do have some room to move with the lockable rubber stoppers. Unlike other keyboard stands these being fixed to the base make it much less flexible then it could have been.

Not quite what i was hoping for

The concept is great. It's just poorly executed in the clamps design. I'm using it to hold a Roland SPD-SX. The problems are that the bars are not adjustable. They will only work just like the picture on the description. The front of the SPD-SX is not a 90 degree angle. So the front is not secured very well. The back is designed even worse. I couldn't find 2 spots on the Roland unit to put the back stoppers without covering an input or output on it. There really isn't much holding it in place. Your better off buying the stand for it or using Roland's multi clamp attachment. Those are much better options than this.
