Best , if it's not an electric guitar

Wouldn't of thought it would be so good for and electric pickup.

Best Ever! I'm not joking.

I'm absolutely stunned at how good this sounds. I've tried several magnetic or transducer guitar pickups but have not found one that accurately preserves the sound you get from an acoustic guitar. Especially one that does so without adding a bunch of extra noise. This thing has a warm and clear tone across the entire spectrum of the guitar. It sounds just like my guitar except louder.

a MYTH BUSTER!!!

I've never been a big fan of "portable" clip-on type pick-ups for my guitars. In fact, I have invested primarily in the more expensive, but often over rated bridge mounted pick-up. As a professional musician/songwriter, I am sensitive to excellent sounding equipment, and this S.D. pickup is blowing my mind!! I LOVE the clarity and warmth of the tone it gives my instrument! It's the perfect addition to my guitar case whei I sit-in with friend and need to be heard!

Awesome

A “must have” product for any acoustic guitar player. No hum.Very sturdy heavy duty cable.Makes my very cheap beater guitar sound good plugged in.You could spend more. You could spend less. But, if you have an acoustic guitar that you need to amplify and want a simple sound hole pickup, you could spend the right amount for the right product and purchase the Seymour Duncan SA-35C Woody HC Hum-Canceling Acoustic Soundhole Pickup

Solved my noise problem!

The SA-35C Woody HC solved the noise issues I was having with the Dean Markley single coil previously used. My home studio is only 10' x 10' so I had nowhere to get away from the computer and all the other gear that emits radiation interference. This pickup is dead quiet! The sound of the pickup seems a bit fuller than the single coil, not totally acoustic sounding, however with some eq I could get pretty close to the sound I get when micing with my Audio Technica Condenser mic. I can also achieve a fairly decent jazz guitar sound with it. I have it permanently mounted with an end pin jack in my Takamine F-340 dreadnought and I am quite satisfied with the fit and look of the pickup. I chose black to match the black pick guard on the guitar. Only reason I didn't give 5 stars is the finish was chipped in a couple of places, no big deal, some magic marker fixed it. Can't really expect anything to be perfect? lol
