Incredibly Small..Incredibly Powerful

I play a lot of Pink Floyd and needed a good roto (leslie) pedal. I read reviews at several places and decided on the ROTO, I couldn't be more pleased. This tiny pedal absolutely nails the sound I was looking for and it is very quiet.. I would recommend this pedal to anyone. Also Ryan and the people at Sweetwater were awesome. The only place to buy from

Hotone Rotary speaker simulator

Whoever said bigger is better needs to take that snide comment back especially when it comes to this "Little guy". Remember the old ice-tray cubes? that's about the size of this pedal with some knobs and an off & on switch stuck to it. I needed a pedal that was a little more convincing and richer in sound quality than the one I currently have and I got way above and beyond that with this little rascal. I in no way thought I'd be so impressed with it as I am. Not only is it about one third the size of your average stomp box it's heavy too! that's the best way to put it people!! sound' quality and size makes this baby heavy man heavy.

Hotone Roto

I ordered mine 2 days ago and have already received it, opened it, and jammed with it for 4 hours! I have been a professional musician and audio engineer for over 35 years and have had some of the finest (and some of the quirkiest!) gear come and go through my collection. I was hesitant about the Hotone line because of old-school bias (I had never seen or heard of them, and they are SO tiny and SO inexpensive), but took the "risk" on a pedal anyway....I am totally floored with the sound and build-quality of this pedal, I came to the Sweetwater website with the intentions to buy more of them and decided to post a review of this pedal for anyone who may be "on the fence" like I had been. Rotone sound slush and somehow "real" (I have had the luxury of having access to Univibes of various models and even a few real Leslie cabinets over the years), I am floored. I set up to play "for a little bit" and suddenly 4 hours had gone by in a swirly and luscious elation! And as always, my buying experience with Sweetwater was simple, efficient, and totally non-pressure. I wish that they had more than one retail store, I would be that annoying customer who hangs out playing gear more than they would like....ha ha. Thanks Sweetwater and thanks Hotone! I am a new Hotone fan-boy!
