Small Footprint, High Quality

I bought this stand at the recommendation of a Sweetwater Sales engineer. I needed a multi-instrument stand with a narrow footprint so it could fit on the return of a desk against a wall. All of the slant-style stands needed much more room and ran the risk of letting the headstocks bump the wall. The Roadie 4 is only 14" from foot to foot in its narrow dimension and it fits on my desk return with plenty of room to spare. I'm also very happy with the quality - easy to adjust for 2 different heights, plenty of room to grab and replace the guitars and very low risk of bumping. The rubber feet grip well and haven't slipped once. Al though it mostly stays in one place on a desk, it's also been fantastic on stage when I needed it to be, again the small footprint helping to fit 4 instruments in a tight space without risk of bumping. It wasn't actually in stock at the time, but the SW engineer tracked their incoming shipment (K&M is a German company) and immediately redirect one to me. I received it 2 days after my call. Every time I interact with SW employees, I'm amazed at how well they do their jobs. Why aren't more companies like this?

The Mercedes of guitar stands

Not much to say other then I trust it to hold my guitar investment on any stage. Simple and rock solid. It is not super portable as it doesn't collapse down small enough to fit in my road box so I just carry it in to shows separately. It also doesn't have a huge footprint so its good for tighter setups. It is "spendy" but so were all my guitars. Qapla'

Great stand... A little expensive

I like the stand it is built very well and hold everything from a "V", Firebird, and explorer no problem. It also has a smaller foot print compared to other stands that hold multiple guitars. The footprint is why I spent the additional money for this stand BUT I do think the price is too high, you can't argue the quality, not justifying the cost just mean it is built well. Although I do really like the stand I wouldn't spend that much for another one.
