    Most Versatile Hardware Sequencer Around

I used to use a Yamaha RS7000. I bought it right when it came out and it cost about $1300. At the time it was likely the best MIDI sequencer out. It didnt take too long, however, to be phased out due to its smartmedia card reader, limited RAM, and SCSI port. Having a sequencer based off Windows or Mac OS, running VST's, USB3, and supporting USB MIDI (so many controllers dont even have a MIDI port any more!) is one of the most upgradeable, future friendly options there is.
    non-destructive quantize!
MIDI sequences are treated almost like audio samples, with custom start points, loop points, loop modes, etc... Features I am boggled that no one has included yet except maybe in a clunky DAW. It is mundane options like these that inspire me to make new types of music. Also, holy crap, you can load a project in the background and mix it in dj style. Why hasnt anyone thought of this yet?! This is how electronic music is performed, not song, break, banter, song... like a rock concert. before you needed clever setups to fill in silence while you could load the next project

I also own NI Maschine, and was never happy that I really could not avoid using a mouse and keyboard, because honestly I have very little self control and clicking around on a mouse tends to drag me away from focusing on the music I am trying to get into. I know that they market maschine as something you do not need to use a mouse with, but realistically it hasn't really been true for me. I can edit the piano roll very easily with the knobs on this thing, maybe one of the best features. I can use the maschine as a plugin anyway, which is overkill, and awesome. This things displays three times the VST parameters that maschine can on its little screens.
Its funny because it is a DisplayLink USB monitor under the knobs and so is dealt with in windows as another monitor. You can drag your mouse and windows onto the display. I would imagine that It is best to have a fast computer and USB3 since I think usb monitors take a lot of processing power.

It is not a mature product by any means, there are a bunch of quirks and bugs, but Feeltune has responded to all of my emails and has provided two updates within a week, fixing bugs I reported. Besides the SXE version, this is essentially the only product these guys make, so all efforts go into it. If they keep up with my bug reports like they have this thing will be very solid very quickly. I am obviously pretty excited about it
