Samson Resolv A5 (A OK)
Why did I give these a 5 star rating ? For the money they sound like a much more expensive monitor. I'm using them for practice and some mixing. For rehearsal they're fantastic. My SV-1 never sounded better. For mixing they have a tight bass, smooth mid with a very adjustable high end. Once again... for the money "get them" get them NOW !
Incredible Midrange clarity!
I started out with the Yamaha HS50 as I was told those would give me an "honest" Mix. A year later I bought these for HALF THE PRICE of the Yamahas! They litterally destroyed the yamahas! The bass response is great, the midrange is amazing and the highs are clear as well. I wouldnt use them as my main monitors but deffinately as a 2nd reference!
OK monitors
Mid-range is nice, highs are OK, but bass is weak. However, you might find it not bad at all if you work on med/high volume.
