Loved them

Loved these strings on my hard body Squire Mustang, so ordered the same for my accoustic Fender Kingsman. Now I'm right where I sound and feel home.

Mega bass sound

Recently purchased a guild starfire bass from sweetwater and wanted nylon tape wounds that I have played for over 50 years My sweetwater rep advised these would dive me the 60s sound I wanted and he was correct I love them ! I had a strange thing happen with a G string actually snapping while tuning and no questions asked replacement set was sent

RS 88's

These are great strings! They are what McCartney used on the last Beatles concert in Let It Be in 1969 and maybe on Abbey Road as well. They are big strings as the guage suggests and some nut filing may be needed to get them to fit on some basses. They are not as low tension as some other black nylon strings, but they are not stiff by any means. They put out a real thumpy, upright sounding tone that is great for that early 60's, Motown, British Invasion kind of sound of classic rock or country. They are also very smooth, no drag or resistance on the fingers at all. Moving up and down on the fingerboard is quite easy as it is other tapes. Overall they are nice strings and worth trying if you are looking for that type of sound. Special thanks to Aaron Hoff at Sweetwater for getting my order processed quickly and keeping me informed on the order.

Absolute garbage

These strings have weird intonation issues. The e string also had these unpleasant dissonant harmonics. Rotosounds are supposed to be classic but these are awful. Don't waste your money because sweetwater wouldn't even let me return them. Utterly annoyed.
