Ultra-sleek Playability, Active EMG Pickups

The Jackson Pro Rhoads RRTMG solidbody electric guitar delivers striking aesthetics, an ultra-playable neck, and a perfect balance between classic design and modern features. This guitar follows in the footsteps of the original Randy Rhoads model, sporting the familiar aggressive "V" design and unmistakable legendary tone. A duo of direct-mounted active EMG humbuckers delivers harmonically rich, heavily saturated tones with unbelievable clarity and sustain. The Pro Rhoads RRTMG features a comfortable oil-finished maple neck, along with a lightning-fast compound-radius fingerboard. Attractive black hardware imbues the Pro Rhoads RRTMG with eye-catching appeal. The Jackson Pro Rhoads RRTMG is the solidbody electric guitar that technical players demand.

Jackson Pro Rhoads RRTMG Solidbody Electric Guitar at a Glance:
  • Compound-radius fingerboard provides the best of both worlds
  • Maple neck and radius-compensated bridge offer prodigious sustain
  • Classic Rhoads style yields an aggressively modern appearance
Compound-radius fingerboard provides the best of both worlds

The Jackson Pro Rhoads RRTMG sports a compound-radius rosewood fingerboard with jumbo frets. Down low, your fretting hand will appreciate the 12" radius that keeps things nice and comfortable for natural, relaxed chord work. Up top, a 16" radius lays it all out flat for effortless, low-action, high-speed runs with monumental string bends without fretting out. The best of both worlds.

Maple neck and radius-compensated bridge offer prodigious sustain

From bow to stern, the Jackson Pro Rhoads RRTMG is set up for mammoth sustain. You get a through-body maple neck - a proven sustain-enhancing construction method - and a radius-compensated bridge with anchored tailpiece. Top that off with two harmonically rich active EMG humbuckers, and you have a recipe for slippery-pitch expressiveness - with rock-solid tuning stability and endless sustain.

Classic Rhoads style yields an aggressively modern appearance

If you're after a guitar that looks as mean as it sounds, Sweetwater has your axe. The Rhoads body shape alone is enough to convey instant attitude. Throw in Jackson's distinctive pointy headstock and shark fin position inlays, and you have one arresting-looking guitar. The Jackson Pro Rhoads RRTMG is one of the sharpest-looking guitars around: a serious axe-wielder's instrument of destruction. Exactly what you've been looking for, right?

Jackson Pro Rhoads RRTMG Solidbody Electric Guitar Features:
  • Solidbody electric guitar with aggressive "V" design
  • Dual active humbuckers deliver rich saturated tones with unbelievable clarity and sustain
  • Oil-finished maple neck for smooth, effortless transitioning
  • 12"-16" compound-radius fingerboard yields ultra-fast playability
  • Charvel-Jackson radius-compensated bridge and anchored tailpiece create thick sustain
The Jackson Pro Rhoads RRTMG is a worthy update of a classic solidbody electric guitar!

Love this guitar

This is a great guitar at a reasonable price. Neck is very fast and comfortable. The EMG's have great sound, very clear.

Great guitar

First this is a great guitar, it sounds good and plays very nicely. That being said, I did have it professionally set up because the action was fairly high (for a Jackson). I have played other RRTMGs that were perfect out of the box and that's the reason I wanted one, but not a big deal. If you want it to sound better, put 10-52s on it, the 9s sounded too buzzy.
