This Rhoads is Packed with Top-shelf Features

The Jackson Pro Series Rhoads RR24 solidbody electric guitar is packed with aggressive visuals, fast-playing performance, and ferocious sound. Dual Seymour Duncan humbuckers supply savage high-output tone that beautifully enhances the resonance of this guitar's mahogany body. And you'll experience a serious speed boost to your playing, thanks to the RR24's oil-finished maple neck. Whammy and dive-bomb to your heart's content with a Floyd Rose double-locking tremolo. The Jackson Pro Series Rhoads RR24 solidbody electric guitar features gold hardware for an eye-catching appearance for looks that are as stunning as it sounds.

Compound-radius fingerboard provides the best of both worlds

The Jackson Pro Series Rhoads RR24 sports a compound-radius rosewood fingerboard with jumbo frets. Down low, your fretting hand will appreciate the 12" radius that keeps things nice and comfortable for natural, relaxed chord work. Up top, a 16" radius lays it all out flat for effortless, low-action, high-speed runs with monumental string bends without fretting out. The best of both worlds.

Maple neck and Floyd Rose tremolo offer prodigious sustain

From bow to stern, the Jackson Pro Series Rhoads RR24 is set up for mammoth sustain. You get a through-body maple neck — a proven sustain-enhancing construction method — and a Floyd Rose double-locking tremolo. Top that off with two ferocious Seymour Duncan humbuckers, and you have a recipe for detailed vibrato expressiveness — with rock-solid tuning stability and endless sustain.

Classic style yields an aggressively modern appearance

If you're after a guitar that looks as mean as it sounds, Sweetwater has your axe. The body shape alone is enough to convey instant attitude. Throw in Jackson's distinctive pointy headstock and shark fin position inlays, and you have one arresting-looking guitar. The Jackson Pro Series Rhoads RR24 is one of the sharpest-looking guitars around: a serious axe-wielder's instrument of destruction — exactly what you've been looking for!

Jackson Pro Series Rhoads RR24 Solidbody Electric Guitar Features:

  • Solidbody electric guitar with aggressive "V" design

Perfect Shred Machine

I purchased one of these bad boys a little over a week ago, so far I'm in love with it. Aesthetically, I was sold on the color and reverse headstock, it really is an awesome looking guitar. Being a Jackson pro series of course it plays like a dream and is very well built. From the factory the action is reasonably low and intonation is spot on, even after changing the strings and setting it up for D standard tuning I didn't have to make any major adjustments other than balancing the bridge spring tension for my strings and tuning. The duncan distortions were a concern of mine going in, but after playing it at a band rehearsal through my Engl Fireball 100 I really don't see a need to swap them, they're perfect for thrash metal. Very articulate and evenly eq'd, maybe a little on the harsh side but not enough to make me swap them, and they clean up very nicely. The Floyd is not a "special" series which is a plus. I believe it's Jackson's licensed version, there's definitely better versions out there but this one seems solid and I'm sure will hold up fine. The natural finished neck is silky smooth and thin, very fast and easy to navigate, mine even has some natural flame in it along the bass side which looks beautiful. Very happy with it, and my band mates love the look and sound of it. Huge thanks to Mr. Dave Walent and everyone at Sweetwater for this awesome guitar!
