Powerful Synthesizer That's Perfect for Performance

Boasting 37 keys, two ribbon controllers, a mic/audio input, and even a vocoder, the RK-100S gives you freedom to perform with your favorite sound module, virtual instrument, or with two hundred built-in analog-modeled synth sounds. A software editor is included for detailed sound programming and editing, allowing you to create awesome sounds in your studio and perform with them live on stage. In fact, the built-in synth engine is the same as Korg's insanely popular microKorg XL synth, one of the most popular synthesizers Sweetwater's ever offered. If you play keyboards live, you definitely want to check out the Korg RK-100S!

Korg RK-100S 37-key Keytar Controller/Synthesizer at a Glance:
  • Stage-ready analog-modeled synth sounds are built-in
  • Your favorite sounds are always ready to go
  • Play with incredible expression, with two ribbon controllers
Stage-ready analog-modeled synth sounds are built-in

The Korg RK-100S is an awesome controller for virtual instruments and synthesizer modules, but you'll also have 200 onboard sounds to play with at any time. The synth engine is the same one found in the microKorg XL synth, and the included software editor allows you to create some fantastic sounds. In addition to dual oscillators, dual multi-mode filters, waveshaping, and effects, you also have an arpeggiator, vocoder, and an external audio input for even more creative options.

Your favorite sounds are always ready to go

You've got fast access to your favorite sounds with the Korg RK-100S. Eight preset buttons can be assigned to your most-used built-in sounds - it's easy to switch sounds instantly, even in the middle of a performance.

Play with incredible expression, with two ribbon controllers

There are two ribbon controllers on the RK-100S keytar, and they're fun for much more than just filter sweeps and vibrato effects. For example, the long ribbon controller can be used instead of the keyboard for smooth theremin-style pitch sweeps, or you can assign it to a play in a wide range of musical scales too.

Korg RK-100S 37-key Keytar Controller/Synthesizer Features:
  • Keytar-style synthesizer with 37 velocity-sensitive keys
  • Two ribbon controllers for expressive performance
  • Includes 200 analog-modeled synth programs, with software editor for program editing
  • Mic/audio input jack is also useable with the vocoder function
  • Wood construction with Red finish
  • Includes soft case
Hit the stage and perform with the Korg RK-100S!

The ONLY way to play Frankenstein

Scenario: you're in a kick *** Chicago cover band. Suddenly, your guitar player pulls the rockmobile (note: Honda Odyssey) over to the side of the road, throws a can of Baller's Blend Punch Monster at your skull and screams, "FRANKENSTEIN!!! WE NEED TO PLAY FRANKENSTEIN!!!" You own a guitar and a keyboard, but no matter how hard you try to get the two of them to mate, they won't. They just won't.Solution: there is only one - the Korg RK-100S. I have played this thing live since the day it came out. Since then, I've lost twenty pounds, married my high school sweetheart and beat my Dad in an arm wrestling contest. Now I'm the big boy, not Steve. Thanks Korg.
