    Awesome Guitar !!

Really happy with it. I have an old Iceman and was looking to get a new Ibanez. Wanted a maple fretboard, and really like the sound of it,the fret edges are great. The trem is great too, wasnt too big on floating trems but really like it. The action is nice and low. I'm really happy with the guitar.

    Shredding machine \m/

I bought this to be a beater guitar to keep on the floor next to the couch. You know, so you can just reach over and grab it, practice the sweeping and alternate picking for a few minutes, and drop it back down.

I was blown away by how well built it was. I've been burned by Ibanez Indonesia in the past, but not this time.

The fret ends are nice and uniform with no snags. The finish was tell edged, and the set-up from Sweetwater and ready to go straight out of the box.

I can't say if they're all going to come to you in this great condition, but I'm sure satisfied with the one I got. Especially for a cheapo model.

    Awesome sub $500.00 axe!

I bought this guitar as an entry level guitar equipped with a Floyd style tremolo, since my previous guitars all have strat style trems. I've always heard to never buy an Ibanez model lower than an RG550, so I was really worried about this one. It arrived on time and very well packaged with no shipping damage. The guitar itself was as close to perfect as I probably could have asked considering it was a mail order. The action was super low with no fret buzzing or fret outs. I will still take it to a professional eventually for a proper setup, but that is something I would do with any new guitar. It was slightly out of tune, but that was expected too due to the neck settling a bit and climate changes. There were no sharp fret ends, loose frets/nut, or any loose or ill fitting parts. The finish was flawless with one exception. The plastic back plate for the tremolo springs was a bit scratched, but that is not a big deal. The maple neck on this thing is silky smooth and plays like butter. I would definitely recommend this guitar to anyone as an entry into RGs. The only things I would advise is to have it set up by a pro and eventually change the pickups to decent ones. The stock pickups aren't unplayable, but they aren't as articulate as I like and tend to be a bit muddy. This was my first purchase through Sweetwater, and I have to say I'm impressed. I really liked the bag of candy and magazines they included with my order. A very personal touch.
