Exceptional Quality for the price

I recently bought the RG350M in Roadster Green Metallic. It is the same guitar as this white model but in a different finish. My first impressions werent so good. I received the guitar fully boxed and packed up, so i was the first to play it. After tuning it up I played a few licks and found the frets to be very "sandy" feeling, and was very much let down, not even the slightest polishing or micromeshing was done to the frets, but after about 20 minutes of playing it went away. This is a very minor issue, as anyone with some tape and a dremmel can polish frets! Also there were minor imperfections such as the green paint from the headstock face had gotten onto the back of the headstock, and altho fairly faint, it is trapped under the thin satin finish. A few sharp fret edges and the fretboard edge seems a little sharp. But that is all an easy fix for a tech/luthier or someone who is hands on DIY-type.

Now for a review of the rest of the guitar. Body finish, hardware, and all parts are immaculate. Very nice and everything functioned beautifully. The bridge is the best yet for these budget instruments. You could search high and low all day on the internet but take it from me. I have set up countless floyds and these bridges are a drastic improvement from the EDGE III. Only complaint is the fine tuners are a bit stiff, but I am sure they will wear in, or perhaps need to be slightly lubricated. Tuning and stability is great. The pickups were satisfactory for stock, but I will be changing out ALL of the pickups and wiring in the future to really make this guitar sound and play better than it does now. For what I wanted, a nice starting point for an awesome shredtastic guitar, it fits the bill perfectly. And its an awesome instrument for those mod happy DIY folks....

Beautiful, great sounding guitar!

The Ibanez RG350 is an amazing looking guitar, it's like the picture but the whites are much brighter, which is better in my opinion. The playability is is so easy to hit high notes, the neck is smooth and fast. The sides of my neck came a little dirty and two small dot stains on the fretboard but I am content with it. The Edge 2 tremolo is amazing and very fun to play with and the guitar sounds great, the cleans are warm especially compared to my old ibanez gio these pickups kinda "round" out the sound so it's not as harsh. It's not a top notch gibson, fender or prestige ibanez but for the price it's really good
