The Last Mic Stand You'll Ever Need!

Whether you're a gigging musician, a professional technical director, or a working engineer, if you're looking for outstanding value and long-term durability in a boom-equipped microphone stand, then look no further than the Pro-T-T stand from Ultimate Support. Like the rest of Ultimate Support's Pro Series stands, the Pro-T-T is a workhorse-quality stand that's strong, reliable, and easy to use. The Pro-T-T features field-replaceable parts and a comfortable quarter-turn clutch that won't slip in the middle of a show. A scratch-resistant, ultra-strong powder-coat finish keeps rust at bay and shrugs off the impact and the scrapes that would leave visible marks on other similarly priced stands. And you can collapse its highly stable tripod base to store the Pro-T-T even in limited spaces.

What makes an excellent microphone stand? Is it the durability of its tubing? Is it the smoothness and the reliability of its clutch? Or does the secret lie in the practical details, such as field-replaceable parts and universal threading? Whatever the answer may be, Ultimate Support's Pro Series stands have it all! Oversized steel tubing and thick rubber feet make the Pro-T-T one of the most durable stands on the market. A black powder-coat finish eliminates glare onstage and keeps it looking new. You'll love the Pro-T-T's super-smooth and incredibly strong clutch (especially if you've ever had to deal with budget stands that constantly sag over during performances), and its counterweighted Ulti-Boom features a high-friction rotation hub for maximum stability. And if you damage or wear out part of your Pro-T-T, don't worry — almost all of its parts are easily field replaceable.

Super Sturdy

Roadworthy, heavy and durable

Great Mic

Great Mic Stand. Yes its not like the old Pro T-T boom mic stand but this updated version is still great and the boom stand doesn't spin or move once tighten.

initial review - Solid stand

My Ultimates are the best stands I own. Time will tell if it lasts as well as my others but seems to be a very solid piece of kit. Other reviews complain of plastic parts, especially the boom housing. On mine that seems to be addressed and it's metal so it's very sturdy and clamps down tight. How long it lasts as a great performer remains to be seen. :-)

Better than i expected

No complaints yet. Stand is well built, sturdy and heavy. had a lot of trouble finding a good quality stand. glad i bought it. now we will see if it will stand the test of time. so far so good.

misses the mark

Here's the good news: I finally have a mic stand that doesn't tip over. This is a heavy stand; unlike most other stands I've used, even with the boom extended all the way out to one side (I place the stand next to my keyboard) it doesn't tip over. Here's the bad news: the friction clutches on the boom extension just don't get tight enough to prevent the mic from rotating. The angle adjustment isn't the problem, it's the telescoping extension. I solved the problem by tossing out the boom and replacing it with an Atlas telescoping boom.
