Love this desk

The build quality is excellent. The high pressure laminated surfaces and laminated almond trim looks classy and seals the desk. The keyboard tray does lock in place with special rubber sockets. I made the mistake of loading up the desk with gear before raising the steel leg height adjustments for more leg room – I recommend you set up the height first! I have dual computer monitors which I eventually placed on the main desk surface. I tried placing them on the top shelf, but I didn't like having to look upward at them, and it also seemed too far away when playing the MIDI keyboard. With my dual computer monitors spanning almost the full width, their wasn't enough room to place speaker monitors, so I got some speaker pole stands that I placed on each side, which is perfect. I'm really enjoying the ability to roll the keyboard out and compose while looking straight at my digital audio workstation. This is so much more conducive to music making then have a MIDI keyboard 90 degrees off to the side of one's computer desk. The space saving of tucking a keyboard under the desk is also fantastic. I'm very pleased with this desk. I looked around and believe this is one of the best studio desks out there of this type.
