Size Matters ! Hosa 15/25’ IEC Cables
About the only good thing the stock 5' IEC cables are good for, is to use them as cable ties. The Hosa 15' or 25' IEC cables are high quality reliable cables that will hold up to your needs for many shows to come.
First Things First
The first thing after you receive your powered speakers, monitors, subs, mixers etc., is swap out their power cables with some heavy duty ones like these. These will save you a lot of headaches down the road and provide you with clean power throughout, especially for those stretches of 10' or greater. Very happy I did so.
Excellent and flexible
I bought this to use with an amp build I put into a combo. This cable is nice and thick and heavy duty feeling. The length is great, and for its size, it is nice and flexible. I'm planning on picking up a few more for my other amps.

The length you need
The typical power cables you get with powered speakers are so short they don't even reach to the bottom of the speaker stand. Get these longer power cables and you will be able to get your power down the stand to plug-in properly. This helps eliminate your number of cords and speeds set-up and take-down. Wish I had these long ago!

I purchased this cable to replace an OEM, mid-size console cable. OEM cable was standard IEC type similar to one used for a piece of outboard gear. This cable is way more robust, heavier gauge and 3 times as long! No extension cord needed! I love it!
Longer power cable a must for gigs
So far so good - bought this a short time ago for use with an amp. The cable that comes with most amps is too short to reach a power strip on the floor if the amp is elevated on a stand etc. This cord is plenty long and seems of higher quality than the power cord that shipped with the amp

These are good, solid cables and have proven themselves more than a few times.
